In celebration of the Prime Minister’s birthday, a special ladoo was unveiled by M. Kumar Dilip along with senior IMF officials, accompanied by a background rendition of a birthday song. This marked a moment of festivity and national pride.
The event also served as a platform to announce a new initiative by Sulabh International, in collaboration with the Indian Mountaineering Foundation. This initiative, titled “Sulabh Swachatta Parvaton Ki Or” (in English, “Sulabh Sanitation Towards Mountains”), aims to extend the Swachhata mission to the Himalayan regions, focusing on cleanliness in mountainous terrains.
As a symbolic gesture, Col Vijay Singh and Shri Keerthi Pais presented an ice axe to Sulabh President Mr Kumar Dilip, signifying the shared mission of promoting cleanliness across diverse landscapes.
Col Vijay Singh delivered a brief address on the “Clean Himalaya Campaign”, shedding light on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the Himalayas and other pristine natural environments.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms Abha Kumar, Senior Vice President of Sulabh International, followed by the National Anthem, where all participants stood in unity to honor the nation.
