Sulabh International Social Service Organisation was honoured with the “Navbharat ke Nav Ratna Samman 2025 – Lifetime Achievement Award” in the field of social service at the prestigious NBT Utsav 2025, held at the NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi. The event marked the 78th anniversary of Navbharat Times, one of India’s leading Hindi dailies.
The award was received by Sulabh President Shri Kumar Dilip, who expressed heartfelt gratitude and dedicated the honour to Padma Vibhushan Dr Bindeshwar Pathak, the visionary who transformed sanitation into a people’s movement rooted in dignity, inclusion, and human rights.
In his acceptance speech, Shri Kumar Dilip said,
“This award is not just a recognition of our work, but a tribute to Dr Pathak’s lifelong mission to serve the marginalized and bring sanitation to the forefront of public discourse. It inspires us to deepen our commitment to community welfare and continue carrying forward his legacy of compassion, innovation, and social transformation.”
The grand celebration was graced by Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Delhi Chief Minister Hon’ble Smt. Rekha Gupta, and senior dignitaries from Navbharat Times.
