Patna, April 24, 2025:
At the grand Rashmirathi Parv – 2025 held at Bapu Sabhagar, Patna, Dr Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, was posthumously awarded the prestigious “Swachhata, Paryavaran evam Manav Garima Samman” (Sanitation, Environment, and Human Dignity Award). The event was organized to commemorate the 91st death anniversary and the 50th death year of the national poet, Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’.

Accepting the award on behalf of Dr Pathak, Mrs Nitya Pathak, his daughter-in-law, stated:
“This honour is not a personal recognition, but a tribute to Dr Pathak’s extraordinary work that illuminated lives and empowered the marginalized with dignity and self-respect.”
