Sulabh International in collaboration with IIHH, EIACP Resource Partner under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, successfully conducted an Awareness cum Sensitization Programme on July 28, 2025, at the bustling Anand Vihar Metro Station and Bus Stand, New Delhi. The programme was part of the nationwide campaign titled “Clean Air for Blue Skies – Breath of Change.”
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a diverse group including metro and bus commuters, drivers and helpers, local vendors, and residents from nearby areas. Designed to raise awareness on air pollution and promote sustainable living, the programme incorporated a mix of informative and interactive activities:
- March Past to emphasize collective action against air pollution
- Interactive Sessions and Q&A Round on clean air initiatives
- Selfie Booth to draw in the crowd and spread the campaign message
- VayuMitra Pledge for Clean Air, where participants committed to adopting eco-friendly habits
The response was overwhelming, with over 8,000 individuals sensitised through direct engagement. The enthusiastic involvement of the public highlighted the growing awareness and shared commitment to reducing air pollution and protecting the environment.
