Students of Sulabh National Association of Blind Children, Bihar Rehabilitation Centre sung a song on the theme of “Prohibition in Bihar” , at a public function in Darbhanga , on May 05, 2016. The social message song was sung graciously by these differently abled students for creating mass awareness and sensitization. The harmonious song with lyrical clarity on advocating the purposefulness of Prohibition will go long way in generating public awareness on evils of consuming alcohol. The way the song was was sung touched everybody’s heart and it created a visible impact among the audience.
The song has been composed by the students and teachers of the centre. The students who participated were : Sarbjit Bhatia, Deepak, Dhananjay, Ramkumar, Raju, Pradeep, Aditya Narayan, Prashant, Hari Om and Rahul.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar has imposed complete ban on sale and consumption of liquor in the state ,since April 5.
Sulabh National Association of Blind Children was established in 2005 in Bihar . They are getting training in different trades viz. Computers, Braille, Mobile repairing , Acupressure therapy, Spoken English, Music, Home Science, Marketing, Agarbatti making, Artificial jewellery, Paper bags, etc. They have laudable record of performing at many national and state level programmes.
