The Sulabh International Social Service Organisation was founded in 1970 and the actual work started in 1973. Since then the Sulabh activities have attracted visitors, both from India and abroad. People from more than 100 countries have visited the Sulabh Centre. These visitors have been from many disciplines– politicians, administrators, engineers, sociologists, architects, students, teachers, doctors and para medical staff from hospitals and other institutions.
