Sulabh International was blessed today when Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot , Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment visited Sulabh Campus with an aim to promote Prime ministers Swachata Abhiyan(Clean India Movement). 
Hon’ble Minister was received and welcomed by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder, Sulabh Sanitation and Social Reform Movement and other senior functionaries of Sulabh in the traditional way with shawls, garlands and bouquets on his arrival. Hon’ble Minister was glad to meet the group of liberated Alwar and Tonk women scavengers (Untouchables) and the widows from Vrindavan and Varanasi, standing lined up to welcome him, the neatly dressed ladies betraying not a sign of their detestable past and only demanding attention as respectable citizens now. Hon’ble Minister gladly posed for the photographs with these women’ groups.
Shri Gehlot was given a tour round the various inventions and innovations of the Sulabh technologies, the brainwork of Dr. Pathak, on display e.g. the different models of the twin-pit pour-flush toilets, biogas plant, laboratory the Minister was full of admiration for the Sulabh Technology. An exhibition of the products prepared by the erstwhile scavengers of Alwar and Tonk, Rajasthan was displayed on the Campus; Shri Gehlot highly admired their efforts.
He also evinced great interest in the exhibits displayed at the world famous Sulabh International Museum of Toilets. The Minister also visited to the Sulabh Public School and Sulabh International Vocational Training Centre. The School Children greeted the Minister in Sanskrit.
